Jennifer S. Saal is a partner in the Firm’s Tax Estates & Trusts and Corporate Departments. Ms. Saal provides advice to the firm’s business clients on the legal issues that arise from the daily operations of going concerns. She also specializes in contract negotiation and documentation, helping clients successfully conclude business transactions including commercial leases, purchase/sale contracts, and employment and severance agreements.
Ms. Saal’s estate planning practice is focused on helping families transmit their wealth to successive generations while reducing the impact of estate and inheritance taxes on the survivors. This practice frequently coordinates with Ms. Saal’s corporate practice by enabling family business owners to provide for succession management planning. Ms. Saal also focuses on post-mortem estate, administration and planning which, in certain circumstances, can allow families to re-position assets to maximize wealth retention.
Ms. Saal graduated from New York University School of Law where she was a member of the Moot Court Board. She is also a recipient of the Order of the Coif and the Order of Barristers.
